The gift of God's grace

The Romans Road
to Salvation

Hope. Forgiveness. New life in Jesus Christ.

At Saving Grace Firearms LLC, we want to share the hope found in Jesus Christ. Whatever your story, you are welcome to take a few quiet moments to consider His love and the gift of salvation.

The Romans Road follows a series of passages from the Bible's book of Romans. Together, they explain our need for a Savior, what Jesus has done for us, and how we can respond in faith.

We all need God's grace

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”

Romans 3:23 · KJV

Every one of us has sinned. In our thoughts, words, and actions, we have fallen short of God's holiness. Recognizing this is an honest beginning: we need forgiveness and a relationship with the God who made us.

God offers the gift of eternal life

“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Romans 6:23 · KJV

Sin brings death and separates us from God. Yet this verse also gives us wonderful news: God offers eternal life through Jesus Christ. Salvation is a gift of His grace. We receive it through faith in Jesus, rather than earning it through good deeds or religious activity.

Jesus gave His life for us

“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

Romans 5:8 · KJV

God demonstrated His love while we still needed forgiveness. Jesus Christ died for our sins and rose from the dead. His sacrifice opens the way for us to be forgiven and reconciled to God. You can come to Him honestly, with your failures, questions, and need for mercy.

Believe in Jesus and confess Him as Lord

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”

Romans 10:9 · KJV

“For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

Romans 10:10 · KJV

God calls us to respond with faith: to believe in the risen Jesus, acknowledge Him as Lord, and turn from sin toward Him. This is a personal trust in Christ and His saving work, expressed from the heart.

Call upon the Lord

“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Romans 10:13 · KJV

“Whosoever” includes you. God's invitation reaches people from every background. You may call upon Him today, asking for forgiveness and placing your trust in Jesus Christ.

A prayer from the heart

If you are ready to respond, you can speak to God in your own words. This example may help:

“Lord Jesus, I know I have sinned and need Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose again. I turn to You and place my trust in You as my Savior and Lord. Please forgive me and lead me as I learn to follow You. Thank You for Your grace and the gift of eternal life. Amen.”

This prayer is an example, not a formula. Salvation rests in Jesus Christ; repeating particular words does not replace sincere faith in Him.

Begin walking with Christ

“Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:”

Romans 5:1 · KJV

Faith in Christ begins a new relationship with God. As you grow:

  • Read the Bible. The Gospel of John is a helpful place to begin.
  • Pray regularly. Bring God your gratitude, questions, struggles, and needs.
  • Connect with a Bible-teaching church. Ask a pastor about baptism and growing as a follower of Jesus.
  • Share your faith. Tell someone you trust about your decision and invite them to encourage you.

Scripture quotations are from the King James Version (KJV).
